1. Do you have a
showroom?
- Yes, located at
1000 Piner Road on the north side of Santa Rosa, CA
- Open Monday thru
Friday from 9 AM to 5:30 PM Pacific Time
2. What is your normal
production time?
- Production time
varies greatly by product, quantity and our production schedule. Large
orders and custom designed pieces can take longer and will be quoted prior
to the beginning of production. Please advise us of your specific event
date. We will do everything possible to schedule production to allow ample
time for you to pick up your awards or for shipping time for you to receive
your awards a few days prior to the date. However, delays in artwork
approval or shortened production time could result in the need for Priority
shipping or Priority Service.
- Below is a list of
normal production times after final art approval
A. Cast Bronze
Plaques * 4-6 weeks
B. Plaques * 4-8 days
C. Promotional Products * 3-5 weeks
D. Etched Glass or Etched Wine Bottles * 4-10 days
E. Trophies * 4-10 days
F. Custom Items *depending on item selected
G. Lapel Pins *4-6 weeks
3. Do you offer a
Priority or Rush Service?
- We understand that
sometimes the need for an award comes unexpectedly or gets put off a bit too
long. When that occurs, we are ready and willing to do what it takes to meet
your deadline. In order to maintain our commitment to helping YOU look good,
we offer Priority Service on many, but not all products, complete with
personalized engraving and ready for presentation.
- Priority Service is
subject to availability of inventory and production capacity. Please contact
D & S Awards & Engraving at 707-577-8008 or sales@dsawards.com for more
details. We’ll do everything in our power to make your awards program and
YOU a success.
4. Can I have my logo on
my product chosen?
- Yes, please see the
artwork page for requirements
5. What method of
shipping do you use?
- We use UPS Ground
service unless otherwise instructed.
6. What method of
payment do you accept?
- We accept
local check, cash, VISA, MasterCard, and AMX
7. Do you charge
sales tax?
- Yes, to all
orders delivered in CA unless you have a resale certificate on file or a tax
exempt government letter. The rate at the time of this printing is 8% for
Sonoma County.
8. How much engraving can
I order?
- Each item
with have an optimum area for engraving and font size and selection will
make a large effect on the amount and size of engraving.
9. What are the basic
guidelines to follow when developing text for awards?
- Developing
text for awards is not a difficult task. Here are some basic guidelines.
A. THE RECIPIENT
NAME IS FOREMOST
When an awards is
being presented to an individual, the person’s name, to whom the awards
is being presented, should be the focal point (largest wording) of the
text. The individuals name is best positioned in the top half of the
award.
B. Logos are
generally on the top, but certainly not always.
C. KEEP THE TEXT
SIMPLE
Heading Text,
explaining why the award is being presented…
